At SellerZest, your trust and data security are our top priorities.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including Amazon Selling Partner data accessed through Amazon’s Selling Partner API (SP‑API), in compliance with Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy (Sections 4.4 & 4.5) and Data Protection Policy.

 

  • For AUP Section 4.4 (No Data Aggregation): “Users agree not to use SellerZest services to aggregate data across Selling Partners’ businesses or Amazon Customers obtained through Selling Partner APIs to provide or sell to any parties, including competing Selling Partners.”    

     
  • For AUP Section 4.5 (No Insights about Amazon’s Business): “Users agree not to use SellerZest services to calculate insights about Amazon’s business, nor to promote or publish insights about Amazon’s business publicly or through paid services, including within the Application itself.”

SellerZest is committed to protecting Amazon customer data and strictly adheres to Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy. We do not aggregate data across different Selling Partners’ businesses or Amazon Customers for sale or provision to any third parties. Furthermore, we do not calculate, promote, or publish insights about Amazon’s business.


1. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly
  • Full name, email address, company name

  • Login credentials or authentication tokens (encrypted)

  • Amazon Seller Central ID and authorized Amazon SP‑API data (via secure OAuth)

  • Messages, support tickets, or form submissions

b. Information Collected Automatically
  • Device/browser details, IP address, location, and timestamps

  • Cookies and usage analytics (see Section 6)

c. Amazon SP‑API Data (Only When Authorized by You)

When you grant permission via Amazon’s secure OAuth flow, we may access:

  • Seller account metrics and performance data

  • Product listings and catalog details

  • Orders, inventory, and pricing information

  • Brand Analytics reports (Search Terms, Market Basket, Repeat Purchases, etc.)

We only request the minimum access needed to deliver agreed‑upon features and reports.


2. How We Use Your Information

SellerZest is committed to protecting Amazon customer data and strictly adheres to Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy. We do not aggregate data across different Selling Partners’ businesses or Amazon Customers for sale or provision to any third parties. Furthermore, we do not calculate, promote, or publish insights about Amazon’s business.

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve SellerZest’s tools and services

  • Deliver authorized analytics dashboards, reports, and Brand Analytics insights

  • Help sellers optimize pricing, advertising, and inventory strategies

  • Respond to support requests

  • Comply with legal and contractual obligations

  • Monitor platform performance and security

We do not sell or rent personal or Amazon Information to any third party.


3. Sharing of Information

We only share data in the following circumstances:

  • Trusted service providers: Hosting, backup, analytics (bound by strict confidentiality agreements)

  • Amazon SP‑API: As required and always with your prior authorization

  • Regulatory authorities: Only when required by law

We never share Amazon Information with outside parties for marketing, advertising, or resale purposes.


4. Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary to:

  • Fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy

  • Comply with legal and accounting requirements

When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymized.


5. Security and Compliance

SellerZest uses industry‑standard security measures:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit

  • AES‑256 encryption for sensitive data at rest

  • Secure token‑based authentication

  • Role‑based internal access controls (data access only by personnel who need it)

  • Continuous monitoring and logging

We maintain a formal Incident Response Plan. Any incident involving Amazon Information will be promptly reported to Amazon at security@amazon.com.

Our services are intended for users 18+.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

If you access SellerZest from outside India, your data may be transferred and stored in regions with different privacy laws. We apply the same protections globally.

We may update this policy periodically. Updates will show a new “Effective Date” and be communicated where legally required.
